Cheesy tuna casserole

My sister and I were talking about casseroles the other day. I love them. You just throw them together, put them in the oven and then dinner is ready!

What you’ll need:

1 pkg egg noodles
2 Tbl vegetable oil
¼ c chopped onion
¼ c chopped green bell pepper
¼ c chopped red bell pepper
1 can cream of cheddar cheese soup
1 can tuna, drained
¼ c milk
¼ tsp salt
Pepper to taste
¼ c Italian seasoned bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles according to package directions, drain. Sauté onion and peppers in oil until tender. Mix the soup, tuna, milk and salt and pepper into the vegetables and cook a few minutes over medium low heat. Mix the noodles into that. Pour the combined mixture into a casserole pan. Sprinkle bread crumbs over the top and bake for 20 - 30 minutes or until it’s golden brown. Feeds 6.
