A pretty gelatin dessert filled with lots of good stuff.
What you’ll need:
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 can pitted dark sweet cherries, drained
1 can crushed pineapple with juice
1 pkg cherry gelatin
2 c boiling water
1 c chopped pecans
In a medium saucepan over low heat melt the cranberry sauce. Cut the cherries into pieces and add them to the melted sauce. Stir in the pineapple and it’s juice. Remove mixture from heat. In a medium bowl, pour boiling water over gelatin. Stir until all gelatin is dissolved. Add the gelatin mixture to the cranberry mixture and stir to combine. Fold in the nuts. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan and chill until set, usually about an hour. Makes 12 servings.
