These taste great and are a lot of fun to make with your kids!
What you’ll need:
¼ c oil
½ c popcorn kernels
½ c dark corn syrup
½ c sugar
½ tsp salt
Heat oil in a heavy pan over medium heat. Add popcorn kernels. Cover but leave a gap where air can escape. Shake frequently until popping stops. Mix together corn syrup, sugar and salt. Add to pan of popcorn stirring constantly over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved and popcorn is coated. Remove from heat. Using buttered hands form into balls and let cool. Makes about 12 popcorn balls.
